Cinch for Chromecast App Reviews

Cinch works fine, but its hard to navigate my music library: there is neither a search function nor an alphabetical scroll. Still better than AllCast, which doesnt even have an Album section. My ideal Music casting app would be TV Assist with Chromecast support, but for the time being I make do with Cinch. PS. I use Cinch for listening to Music via a Chromecast Audio.

This app is the best app on Apples AppStore for casting local media. Pictures, music, and video can all be casted from your iPad/iPhone quickly and easily, and the layout is simple and quick to navigate. That said, I was disappointed to find out that I cant cast videos I bought from iTunes from my iPhone... I shouldnt be surprised because this is Apple were talking about, and Chromecast is a direct competitor with the Apple TV, but it doesnt hurt any less. I commend these 3rd party devs who made this app possible and 100% free (no hidden costs!), I really do, but casting movies was the main reason I got this app, and Im unable to do that.

This app crashes every time I try to open it. Using an iPad 3 with iOS 8.1.2. Please fix this bug so I can update my review. The other reviews make it seem like an otherwise great app

Only been using this app for a short while, however it used to be better before the latest update. Now its slow, unresponsive, and very buggy. Album artwork is not showing up and sometimes I have to hit next or previous songs many times to get Chinch to do what I request. Needs work...

Very excited to use this app as it offered something I had been looking for on my chrome cast. However I have been unable to open the app on either my iPhone or iPad running the newest iOS. Please fix!

Udate: new version, new splash screen to look at then crashes. Crashes on 5 out of 5 of my iOS devices. Seems like too many 5 star reviews on this app even if didnt crash and was really good for the App Store. User are are typically more brutal with reviews. Original: Only a orange gradient background appears the it crashes. Try on a couple different iOS devices doesnt work.

Its my favorite chrome cast app for iPhone and i can successfully use my chrome cast and tv for music and media on my iPhone

It works great when it wants to work but it cuts music off and does not play consistently! Please fix, otherwise great app.

So I stumbled across this app while looking for a app to play my music to my chromecast and this does just that! Definitely worth the $1.99!! Only complaint I would have and Im sure many others do to, is that horrendous orange color to the background, maybe add a black version that can be changed so its not so hard on the eyes since its so bright! But overall I give it a 4/5 just do something about that color!

On both 4s and iPad 3. Never saw the app in action, I threw away $2

I was fooled. Does not stream videos as suggested. Useless for my purposes. Buyer beware.

Doesnt even open and makes my phone glitch plz fix! Paid apps should at least open come on people!

Well priced and most features

It definitely allows me to stream music to my chrome cast from my phone, but its slow as hell and often requires closing the app and restarting it to get it to work.

Does not recognize videos. Need refund.

Needs buttons to rewind or fast forward 30 seconds. Takes too long to load a podcast. Still feels like a kludge than a good integration between an apple and Google product.

This app in essence has great features if it worked. It will play sometimes but mostly it doesnt do anything it doesnt load. I love the idea behind it but as of up to this point its been a waste of money. It needs search functionality and it needs serious debugging.

I got this app solely to stream my podcasts to my Chromecast. Unfortunately every time I tap the Chromecast icon while playing a podcast, that app crashes. This doesnt seem to be an issue on other media.

So far no luck. Get me a refund or fix this. Up to date iOS plus iPad Air 64gb. Not working at all. I want my 5 bucks back.

Awesome app that does what Chromecast cant (currently anyway)! Missing a search feature and I am unable to play my audio books that are stored in my iTunes library. Also wish it could play my iTunes videos and movies, but I suppose thats what I get for switching from Apple TV :)
